'TRS brought shame to Telangana'

Telangana Rashtra Samithi has brought shame to the Telangana people by creating ruckus in the Assembly disrupting the address of Governor E S L Narasimhan and attacking Lok Satta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan.

This was stated by Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas on Saturday. Coming down heavily on the TRS MLAs and leaders, DS said their behaviour was ugly and atrocious. “They have denigrated the image of Telangana in the eyes of the world with their ugly actions. How can MLA allow his driver to attack another MLA?” he asked.

The PCC chief said there was a way for the MLAs to register their protest, but they have to act well within the limits of decency and decorum. “Our MLAs have gone to Delhi to bring pressure on the high command for Telangana, rather than behaving in unruly manner. TRS president K Chandrasekhara rao and his party leaders should learn a lesson from our MLAs,” he said.

He reminded KCR of his words of peaceful agitation and Gandhian methods and asked him if the attack on JP resembled the Gandhian one.

Srinivas said that in the name of non-cooperation movement, the TRS and other parties have been causing difficulties to the people and asked the parties to give up the movement.
